Troy M. Doyle, Principal of ONE, Halifax, NS


Troy is a graduate of Dalhousie and McGill universities and has over 20 years experience in business development and marketing, with a particular expertise in exporting, logistics, marketing and strategic, but effective, business development. He has been instrumental in developing and managing new product offer and new export initiatives in the areas of food, beverage, consumer package goods and industrial products, as well as logistics distribution and technology services.


Cheryl Bell, Halifax, NS


A graduate in English from both Mount Allison and Dalhousie universities, Cheryl spent 20 years working as a freelance writer in London, UK, before returning to Nova Scotia in 2005. She has experience in researching and writing a wide range of corporate literature, including annual reports, website content, case studies and marketing communications for clients in both the public and private sectors.


Greg Brown, Halifax, NS


A graduate of Mount Saint Vincent University, Greg has worked extensively on marketing software solutions for corporate and government institutions in the US. He has created web presences, and undertaken website development, marketing and internet billboard advertising for both the public and private sector. Greg also worked on on-line POS software and e-commerce and CRM solutions that were established in Halifax and eventually linked to the US, Mexico, the Middle East and East Africa.


Judith Cabrita, Lawrencetown, NS


Judith has extensive experience within the tourism hospitality sector in Nova Scotia, Ontario and England. As a consultant for the NS Department of Education, Judith has developed the Hospitality post- secondary curriculum and facility design for the NS Community College. As president of the Tourism Industry Association of Nova Scotia, Judith created a strong advocacy for the industry in environmental and sustainable best practices. During her 15-year tenure she negotiated a strong coalition of industry sectors and annually hosted Canada's largest and most successful industry conference and trade show. Bill has a solid track record in client base development, as well as creating effective marketing plans for companies across North America.


Jim Robins, Halifax, NS


Jim has a wide range of experience in the field of export development and trade mentoring, particularly in the areas of digital communications, marketing and export business development. Jim has successfully completed over 30 trade mentoring assignments since 2004 in the areas of export readiness, e-business, and export marketing, as well as worked on business development and matchmaking services for federal and provincial trade missions. He has provided services on nine missions since 2004 and arranged over 300 high level business meetings for over 40 Atlantic Canadian companies in export markets.


Brian Silva, Toronto, ON


Brian has over 30 years' experience in customs consulting, customs brokerage and freight forwarding. He holds a professional license and diploma from the Canadian Association of Customs Brokers. Brian was previously the director for the Toronto region of the Canadian Association Customs Brokerage and acted as a liaison with the brokerage community and Revenue Canada.
